Leg 1: Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers: UNDER 45.5 (-110)
The Rams defense is all-world this season, ranking first in opponent’s points per game and yards per play, and sack rate. I don’t expect them to completely shut down the Packers like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did earlier this season but I expect Los Angeles to minimize the damage QB Aaron Rodgers and Co. can do.
Also, Green Bay ranks first in net time of possession and Los Angeles second so both teams are good at controlling the flow of the game.
As for the Rams offense, I could give you rankings and metrics but let’s just settle on Los Angeles has the worst offense of all the remaining playoff teams. There’s no secret to the Rams’ recipe for a Super Bowl run. It’s 90% defense, 8% offense and 2% P Johnny Hekker.

Leg 2: Baltimore Ravens at Buffalo Bills: BUF Money line (-155)
Forgo 3 points with Buffalo’s spread and BET BILLS (-155) to win outright because we’re are still going to get a fat payout if our parlay cashes. These teams are the most evenly matched in the NFL Divisional Round Weekend.
Personally, I like the Bills here because they’ve played the most consistently in the NFL this season. Buffalo has the second-best cover percentage and best spread margin.
Naysayers will point to the Bills’ below-average rush defense as a reason to back the Ravens but my counter is Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott is a defensive tactician that will coach up his D vs. a one-dimensional Baltimore attack.
Most things being equal, I’ll take the home team with more momentum and circle the wagons with the Bills.

Leg 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints: NOS ML (-165)
Copy and paste the same logic as the section above here. I’m more worried about landing this parlay plane than I am maxing out the payout.
New Orleans’ 38-3 Week 9 victory over Tampa Bay on Sunday Night Football was possibly the most lopsided outcome this season and Saints beat the Bucs by 11 in the first week of the season.
Tampa Bay’s defense is overrated hence its 10-7 Over/Under record. The Buccaneers allowed the Washington Football Team (with QB Taylor Heinicke making his second career start) to put up 23 points last week.
Coincidentally, the Saints’ two games against the Bucs and the NFC Wild Card Round are the only three games in which New Orleans has had all three of RB Alvin Kamara, QB Drew Brees and WR Michael Thomas in the lineup at the same time.
New Orleans has scored 31 or more points in its last four games against Tampa Bay and the Saints will roll the Bucs for a third straight game Sunday.

Free NHL Money Line & Puck Line Picks
Unlike football, most NHL bettors are not going to make their hockey picks against the spread. There is indeed opportunity to bet the puck line and gain an advantage but we will primarily be betting teams to win straight up, also known as the money line.
As with all moneylines, Sportsbooks give each NHL team a return-on-investment payout. That means if you risk $100 on an underdog you may see your NHL selection return a much larger $165. Of course that also means that betting on a heavy hockey favorite, will bring a much smaller return than what you risked. So at Doc's we have to look at each play and ask ourselves, If we make this hockey bet 100 times, do we expect to come out well ahead? Many 'pro' NHL handicappers try to find that one pick on a marquee game that people will buy into. If they can find a play on teams from big cities, the audience will be bigger. That is selling out and not how you become a winning NHL bettor long term! If a Doc's handicapper has reason to believe Tampa Bay is more than at least one goal better, our free NHL pick against the puck line would be to take Tampa Bay -1.5 +150. This is how all bets on the spread AKA puck line work. But again, at Doc's the majority of our NHL selections are against the moneyline on games with odds never higher than -150 with our top plays. However, there can also be outstanding value on betting NHL totals.
NHL Total Predictions
The pace of the game, as well as which games have unique matchups, is a key factor when handicapping hockey games. When pace and matchup formation is an especially strong signal, it may dictate a pick on the over/under. An NHL over/under pick is another way of referring to a prediction on an NHL game goal total. NHL total lines are usually between 5 and 6.5 goals. This means there are many pushes AKA ties with NHL total bets. The way to win betting NHL totals is by getting these picks in at the best possible price. Similar to the run line each of the over and under have a varying price depending on the odds of each occurring. You can also almost always anticipate the empty net goal since teams will pull their goalie the final two minutes of the game when they are down 1 or 2 goals which benefits the over in certain situations. Also when teams are tied late in the game they start playing for the OT point so you can expect them not to take too many chances which could also affect the total in close games. Parlay picks are considered degenerate bets usually placed by football fans. Parlaying NBA games often is a sucker bet and done without getting good prices or the best of key numbers.
